Mega Summit 2016 has a seventh speaker. He’s none other than Bishop Abraham Shanklin, who, with his wife Ingrid, debuted at the conference last year. He joins eminent speakers like Dr Larry Titus, Dr Christopher Kolade and Apostle Alexander Bamgbola who had earlier confirmed acceptance of KINGDOM MEN’s invitation to minister at what is fast becoming the premier annual gathering of men in Nigeria. Others who have been confirmed earlier are: Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, Dr Albert Oduwole and Rev Emmanuel Asiedu-Appiah from Ghana.
Shanklin Jr has served in the ministry for over 28 years, 22 of that as Pastor of New Life Fellowship International Ministries, a ministry he founded on February 27, 1994.
He is passionate about serving Christ and leading others to Him. An anointed and gifted teacher, preacher, motivational speaker and leader, who helps to honor those who disciple the people of God, he teaches character and confidence building principles while expanding the Kingdom Agenda and navigating a path to success. He is committed to mentoring and releasing both men and women into their Kingdom callings.
Bishop Shanklin has field experience in missions, prison, radio, and hospital ministries. He continues to conduct, organize, and lead teaching in the areas of personal, church, and leadership development. He is currently an adjunct professor for the Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary. He also serves as the Dean of Kingdom Building Bible Institute, a fully accredited distance-learning center for Chesapeake Bible College.
Dr Shanklin currently serves as District Overseer for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship for Howard and Anne Arundel Counties and as Vice President for the United Christian Clergy Alliance. This clergy organization in Anne Arundel County is comprised of clergy crossing interdenominational and racial lines to help build bridges in the community.
Bishop Shanklin and his wife of 29 years, Ingrid, reside in Hanover, Maryland and are blessed with four children.
