KMEN SET TO LAUNCH BOARD OF TRUSTEES…Discuss the topic, “Are Men Oppressors or Victims?”

Dr Christopher Kolade, a former Nigeria High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Chairman, Managing Business for Christ will deliver the keynote address at a special edition of Kingdom Men’s Ministries bi-monthly Men’s Breakfast Roundtable in Ikeja on Saturday, September 17, 2016. KoladeVenue is Golfview Hotels and Conference Centre, 12, General Adeyinka Adebayo Street, Ikeja GRA and time is 8:00am.

Inaugural BOTStyled as MEN’S BREAKFAST ROUNDTABLE PLUS, apart from the usual panel discussion, interactive session and breaking of bread, the event has as its highlight inauguration of the ministry’s Board of Trustees chaired by Kolade.

The inauguration of Kingdom Men’s Board of Trustees is a major landmark in the evolution of the ministry and the calibre of men to be inaugurated is confirmation that it is God’s vision as these otherwise busy men could only have accepted at His prompting.

Serving alongside Chairman Kolade are: Archbishop John Osa-Oni, Presiding Archbishop, Vineyard Christian Ministries; Apostle Alexander Bamgbola, an erstwhile renowned international banking professional who gave it all up to answer the call to ministry. He is Founding Senior Pastor, Zion City of the Lord Ministries & Chairman, CAN, Lagos State Chapter and Rev Uwem Michael Udonquak, a Fellow of the Risk Managers Society of Nigeria, President, Risk Managers Society of Nigeria and Council Member, Christ Chapel International Churches.

Other distinguished members of the BoT are Rev Ajibola Oluyede,  Founding Principal Partner, TRLP Law & Council Member, Christ Chapel International Churches, who has allowed himself (along with his wife, Pastor Olufunmi) to be used of God to encourage the vision from the onset;  Very Rev Sunday Ola Onadipe, Rector, Methodist Theological Institute, Shagamu and; Rev Dr Phillip Okerentugba, Regional Pastor, Christ Chapel International Churches, Port Harcourt who is Senior Lecturer and Acting Head of the Department of Microbiology, University of Port Harcourt and a member of KMEN’s Board of Trustees. Rev Remi Akano, Chief Vision Steward, KINGDOM MEN is an ex-officio member of the Board.

The theme of the day’s programme is “Men: Oppressors or Victims?” This all-important topic will be examined indepth by a panel which includes Rev Dr Phillip Okerentugba, a KMEN Trustee; Pastor Dayo Adeyemi, Team Lead of The Catalyst Men International, who is very passionate about men’s issues; and Pastor Popoola Adams, a men’s ministry veteran, psalmist and key member of KMEN’s Board of Stewards.

Kingdom Men is an independent Kingdom-wide institution established to partner with as many churches as are willing, to help raise and disciple men to Christlikeness so that they can become all that God has called them to be. Apart from the Men’s Breakfast Roundtable, its other activities include Project Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) – a Word study, discipleship and accountability small group for men and an annual KMEN’s Mega Summit, which draws speakers from among the leading ministers to men nationally and globally.
